Welcome to Ilizarov UK...

This site has been set up by myself, Dave Walker. As a current patient undergoing treatment using the Taylor Spatial Frame,  I have decided to use my own experience to help others in a similar position.  It is hoped that users of this site will be able to easily find information realted to Ilizarov etc, and so, help them, to help themselves.  More importantly, it is about ensuring that every individual going through this type of treatment is aware that they are not alone.


My situation has been on going since August 2006.  However, the Taylor Spatial Frame treatment has only come into play in September 2007...  When I started doing research about what I might expect etc, I found that there is a lot of information, but, not in the one place.  Therefore, I thought I might build a website that is both informative and interactive...  Enabling people to have a brief look at what the treatment involves.  I also wanted to create a site where people who visit on a regular basis can discuss various subjects related to the treatment... 

This site is live and as such will develop as more and more people contribute.  I would love to feature lots of different cases etc..  And, if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to email me...
